At the February 2006 gathering, a new attempt to gather photographs and honor selected Old Settlers was initiated. An exhibit of post-1900 pictures, images not already included in the Old Settlers’ Photographic Collection, was coordinated by Association officers Karen Haedtcke, treasurer, and Marjorie Vongroven, secretary. They displayed photos of their parents and grandparents; Lester and Sandra Unnasch added pictures of their parents, while Andrea Church, daughter of Association past-president Roger Church and the official photographer of the gathering, contributed her parents’ wedding photos.

Association members who wish to arrange a similar exhibit, should contact Karen Haedtke at (507) 454-2629 or at [email protected] or Marjorie Vongroven at: 24796 County Road 9, Winona, MN 55987.
